Must Have Guitar Albums - David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars

Released in 1972 it's hard for a modern audience to see how shocking it was back in the 70's for an artist to play the part of Ziggy Stardust an androgynous human manifestation of an alien who wore makeup. This album changed the face of rock forever. Without Ziggy Stardust you would have no Duran Duran or Marilyn Manson just to name two.
